"The Village of Miggledy"

Epic #37, March 1988 ($1.00)
Poem:
"Higgledy- Piggledy People in Miggledy
Lived in a village Where happy folks dwell.
Working and playing in Relative harmony.
Everything there was Incredibly well.
Higgledy- Piggledy Merchants in Miggledy
All made a profit, Each day of the year.
It was a period Of great prosperity
Incontrovertibly, Nothing to fear.
Higgledy- Piggledy One day in Miggledy
There came a reason For forecasting gloom.
In the vicinity There was a wanderer
All of the signals Were signalling doom.
Higgledy- Piggledy The end of Miggledy
Came on a morning When nothing was new.
Nothing, that is, But a tourist barbarian
Nothing, that is, But a visit from Groo."

Moral:
"Small disasters cause panic.
Panic causes large disasters."
