"Rufferto Reality!"

Epic #45, November 1988 ($1.00)
Poem:
"In fantasy, a man could be.
Whatever he is dreaming.
Within his mind, he's sure to find-
A future bright and gleaming.
He could presume to be a groom-
And wed a lovely beauty.
He could pretend to be a friend-
To people rich and snooty.
He could create a ghastly fate-
For those whom he despises.
He could conceive, perhaps believe-
He'd caused their great demises.
He could invent a life he'd spent-
Both muscular and healthy.
He could surmise that he was wise-
And prosperous and wealthy.
What man can do, a dog can, too-
Rufferto longs to be-
A hero who is great as Groo-
And THAT'S a fantasy."

Moral:
"Everyone's life seems easier from thew outside."
