"Horse Sense"

Epic #62, February 1990 ($1.00)
Poem:
"A friend's always with you,
wherever you are.
No matter how near and
no matter how far.
A friend is somebody who's
tried and who's true.
In sickness and health,
he will stand beside you.
A friend is somebody who's
always discreet.
If you tell them a secret,
they'll never repeat.
A friend is a person
who'll lend you a buck,
Whenever it happens
you're down on you luck.
A friend is somebody
you're glad that you met
And should you be parted,
you'll never forget.
Rufferto and Groo
are two friends to the end.
But Groo, it would seem,
has a newly-found friend."

Moral:
"If you doubt a friend, you are not being a friend."
