"Groo and the Witches of Brujas"
Epic #21, November 1986 ($0.75)
Poem:
"This land is thought impassable-
By mortals of all season.
For wizards are irascible-
And witches, hard to reason.
All creatures can inhabit here-
So visitors, be wary.
Perhaps you'll find a rabbit here-
Who's ten feet tall and scary.
You'll hear the sounds of dragonflies-
All chanting in a chorus.
And coming right before your eyes-
A living brontosaurus.
So give the monsters lots of space-
This warning must be heeded.
For magic rules this barren place-
No explanation needed.
But there is one alternative-
No wizard can explain.
The man who seems to walk and live-
Without an ounce of brain."
Moral:
"When you wander near evil,
Security is only a function of foolishness..."
