"The Gourmet Kings"

"A meal for a connoisseur:
A vintage wine, a rare liqueur-
A rare and aged aperitif-
The red ones are the best with beef.
A chilled potato vichyssoise-
That's worthy of a king or shah-
And after salad and hors d'oeuvres,
The chef comes in and nicely serves-
A bourguignonne or fine souffle-
To thrill the fussiest gourmet.
Asparagus, a side of peas-
A slab of fine imported cheese-
And for dessert, a chocolate mousse-
Plus coffee, tea or milk or juice.
Now Groo could feast on this for days-
But only has a taste for frays."

Moral:
"The way to a man's heart is through his stomach-
a route which takes you nowhere near his brain."
