"Groo's Clothes"
Epic #46, December 1988 ($1.00)
Poem:
"The folks who dress without a care-
Are well-defined by what they wear.
A rich man dons his golden threads-
A beggerman is clad in shreds.
A sculptor dresses as an art-
A wise man dresses very smart.
This attitude may seem aloof-
But look at Groo for further proof.
For Groo's clothes have a lot of stains-
And just about as many brains."
Moral:
"No matter how you dress a cow, it still gives milk."
