"Slavers"

Epic #5, July 1985 ($0.75)
Poem:
"Years ago, the one called Groo was shanghaied off to sea-
The boat, in thirty minutes, was a pile of debris.
The wanderer was picked up by a ship of awesome power-
Which made for awesome wreckage in a quarter of an hour.
And so it went as twenty ships(or maybe even more)-
Gave passage only to wind up upon the ocean floor.
If someday, you should take a cruise and chance to notice him-
The odds are you'd do better to jump overboard and swim."

Moral:
"Freedom is not an individual effort.
Yours comes only when you grant others theirs."
